Affinity Classes for Lifelong Learners (ACLL)
Affinity Classes are where students come together to learn and share common interests and passions. We have offered over a hundred engaging and exciting classes covering a wide range of topics. Subject matters are as diverse as our students. Some examples of past classes include Fandom (anime, comics, wizards & sorcery, etc), Arts & Culture (music, theater, art appreciation), Travel (virtual Japan, Asia, the United States), Health & Wellness (yoga, the human body and human relationships) and much, much more.
We currently offer real-time online synchronous courses for anyone as well as in-person experiences for people who live on Long Island, New York. Online classes are conducted on the Zoom platform. Classes typically meet once a week for 4-6 weeks and each class is about 75 minutes long.
Share your affinity with us! Look over our past course offerings and contact us about what class you would be interested in – or offer us a brand-new idea for a future Affinity Class you’d like to see.
If you think you would be interested in teaching a class for Affinity, contact us to find out more about becoming an Affinity Instructor.
