Summer 2025 Affinity Classes are here! Check out this IN-PERSON class on Wednesday afternoons. Classes will be held on campus at Stony Brook University beginning July 2nd with 8 classes running through August 20th.

Are you a dog lover? Do you spend more time with your fur baby than with your friends? Are you thinking about bringing a four-footed friend into your family? Then this is the class for you! Join me on a journey through the history of dogs. We will learn about their origins and their place throughout history. We will learn about how they became domesticated and known as “Man’s Best Friend”; occupations that dogs can hold and tasks they can be trained to carry out. These and many other interesting facts about our four-legged furry companions will be discussed. A few special guests will be making an appearance throughout our semester!
