It can be so challenging in a busy week to make sure you have time to maintain friendships, or make new ones. To help you work on prioritizing time with friends, try some of these tips!
- Do things with friends that you are taking time to do anyway, such as go for walks/runs, go to the gym, go shopping.
- Set aside time each week to do something with a friend, it can be a simple as meeting for coffee or it can be something special such as going to a museum.
- Plan for bigger activities such as hosting a dinner or taking a day trip ahead of time, so it is on your calendar. Doing this can help you plan to see people who are more difficult to connect with during the week.
